Weight train to burn fat

A new systematic review and meta-analysis published in Sports Medicine found that the percentage of total body fat we can lose through strength training is similar to how much we lose through cardio training. The researchers from UNSW Australia, reviewed 58 research papers that used highly accurate body fat measurements including body scans that detect fat mass from lean mass. All participants were new to strength training and worked out for around 45-60 minutes on average 2.7 times a week for around 5 months.
