‘Wellbeing blueprint’ to enhance the health benefits of greenspace
Scientists at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) experimental garden in Wisley Surrey are developing a ‘wellbeing blueprint’ for gardens. The scientists hope to develop gardens and greenspace that will help organizations such as schools and hospitals to landscape their greenspaces to ensure calm and joy for individuals. The experimental garden has been split into different sections with a variety of fragrances including pine and rosemary, with other sections experimenting with colour including green or white themes. The RHS says its aim is to promote the ‘health, social and culture value of greenspaces.’
