New research finds colorectal cancer patients need better nutritional support

New research published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sheffield found that there is a real need to improve nutritional advice and support for colorectal cancer patients. More than two-thirds of the colorectal cancer patients that took part in a national survey said they did not receive any nutritional advice from their healthcare team throughout diagnosis, treatment and post treatment.
