Colorectal cancer rates rising in young European adults
According to new research published in the journal Gut, rates of colorectal cancer is rising among adults aged between 20 and 49 across Europe. The steepest rise was among 20 to 29 year olds. Using data from 143.7 million people aged between 20 and 49 years old from 20 countries across Europe, researchers studied rates of colorectal cancer reported in that age group between 1990 and 2016.
