Most people still unaware of red wine and cancer risk
World Cancer Research Fund report that most people are still unaware that drinking red wine increases a person's risk of getting cancer. The charity found that more people are aware of the link between inherited genes and cancer, even though it accounts for less than 1 in 10 cases. World Cancer Research Fund state that not drinking alcohol is one of the most important things people can do to reduce their cancer risk, alongside not smoking and maintaining a healthy weight.
